If Bridge to Good has an origin story, it starts with COVID and a phone call to Lifeline.
When the pandemic hit, our clients — rightly — redirected their focus to keeping their people safe, their customers looked after, and their businesses moving through an uncertain time.
That left us with something rare: capacity. Rather than wait it out, we reached out to Lifeline and offered what we had — time and skills, no strings attached.
What followed was a pro bono engagement that covered process optimisation and automation, ramping the onboarding of crisis volunteers, and performance management support.
Lifeline needed to scale fast to meet an explosion in demand. We helped them do it.
That experience, giving capability where it was genuinely needed, and seeing the difference it made, planted the seed for everything that followed. It would take a few more years to formalise, but the intent was already there.
The giving back goes further still. Some of that history spans continents. CareerBox, a South African non-profit that trains young people from underprivileged communities and places them into digital careers, is one example of causes our people have supported over the years.
Closer to home, members of our team have backed The Pinnacle Foundation, which provides scholarships and mentoring to young LGBTIQ+ Australians to help them realise their full potential.
Bridge to Good did not create this commitment.
It gave it a home.
Before the foundation,
there was the intent.
